Client Job Description

Summary: The Project Manager ensures that assigned projects are completed on time, within project scope, on-budget, and meet the quality standards as defined by the organization. The successful candidate will have experience with technical projects in Infrastructure, Data Analytics, and Information Security, but also be an open and flexible learner who is open to a variety of business and technology projects.

 Responsibilities:  

·        Work with key operational and IT managers to deliver project results on time, on budget, on scope, and that it meets the quality standards as defined by the organization.

·        Work with technical teams in Infrastructure, Data Transformation, and Security to ensure project scope is documented, communicated, and managed to ensure successful implementation.

·        Develop formalized project plans for each project, including timelines, communication plans and resource assignments, and track project progress against plan.

·        Manage scope changes following the change management process.

·        Manage and communicate project risks, establish mitigation plans for each risk, and drive them to closure.

·        Facilitate meetings with key stakeholders as defined in the communication plan to provide progress status, including risks and mitigation plans for each, and progress against the project objectives.

·        Assist stakeholders with conflict resolutions, re-prioritization or removing obstacles.

·        Participate in process improvement within the EPMO and other areas of the organization as requested.

·        Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

·        A bachelor’s degree is required.

·        3+ years project management experience, with at least 2 years managing technical projects.

·        1+ years’ experience working with agile teams or agile organizations.

·        Demonstrated experience in leading agile work teams, scrum teams or projects, and delivering business results on time, on budget, and within quality standards.

·        Experience with health insurance industry is a plus.

·        Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

·        Excellent meeting facilitation skills.

·        Experience working on interdepartmental projects.

·        Strong understanding of modern technology platforms and systems.

·        Mastery of project management system software (e.g., Microsoft Project, etc.).

·        Mastery of Microsoft office suite (Excel, Word, Power Point, etc.).

·        Must be extremely well organized and possess the ability to be flexible.

·        Adept at establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with internal colleagues and external contacts.

·        PMP certification, Agile certification, or related certifications preferred, but not required.

·        Familiar with Agile and Waterfall software development methodology.

·        Employee is required to have at minimum an internet speed of 75 Mbps (standard high-speed internet access).

·        Salesforce experience is "Nice to Have".
